Assalam Alaykum,If a person loves the Quran , but sometimes may dislike hearing some imams tajweed, voice or recital of the Quran during prayer or other times , is there any sin on him for this dislike ?
All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
If a Muslim happens to prefer listening to some Quran reciters over others, there’s nothing wrong with that. Not being fond of the style of certain reciters doesn’t contradict one’s love or respect for the Quran itself.
What truly matters is that the listener engages with the recitation thoughtfully, reflecting on its meaning and feeling as though the Quran’s commands and prohibitions are directed at them personally.
One should be careful not to be distracted from that purpose by becoming overly engaged in finding and identifying the reciter with a beautiful voice that he likes most.
Allah Knows best.
